Theresa is a certified Reiki practitioner, postpartum doula, and hysterectomy doula who specializes in supporting women through the profound transitions of motherhood and hysterectomy procedures.
Her path to this work began with her own lived experiences: the birth of her daughter after years of work as a birth doula, which deepened her understanding of the need for compassionate postpartum care, and later her hysterectomy, which inspired her to create dedicated support for others navigating similar life-changing surgeries.
Theresa completed her postpartum doula training in 2015 and has provided care for families in the tender weeks, months, and year after birth, emphasizing self-regard, self awareness, and emotional well-being. In 2018 she discovered Matrescence, the evolution of a woman through her motherhood, and weaves that deeply into her practice.
Following her own surgical experience, she saw the importance of creating hysterectomy support to guide women through preparation, recovery, and the physical and emotional shifts that accompany this transition.
In addition, Theresa has been a reiki practitioner for fifteen years and integrates energy healing into her offerings to support balance, resilience, and whole-person care.
Drawing on both formal training and personal experience, Theresa brings warmth, presence, and expertise to every session. She is committed to holding space where women feel deeply supported, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s changes with confidence and ease.
